我々が誇り高く叫び称賛したものを、黄昏の最後の光の中で

その広い縞模様と輝く星たちは危険な戦いの最後まで
我々が見た城壁の上に、堂々と翻っていたのだろうか

そして、ロケット弾の赤い光、空中で炸裂する爆弾
それが証明してくれたのだ　一晩中我々の旗がそこにまだ健在していたことを

ああ、あの星条旗は今でも翻っているのだろうか
